Oana Singa

Oana Singa is the Design Principal of THIS IS VIALA, a design studio specializing in custom window treatments and curated interiors based in Mountain View.

She approaches every project through the lens of interior design, with a focus on full-home residential projects where every window is considered as part of the larger interior rather than an isolated product decision.

As the sole design lead on every project, she is the person who walks the spaces with you, guides the selections, and oversees the work from first conversation through installation.

She brings a background in interior design, entrepreneurship, and high-performance athletics, and has studied and documented more than three hundred high-end interiors. She looks beyond the window itself to consider proportion, light, architecture, materials, and how a space is meant to feel, function, and be experienced.

That sensibility is not separate from the work. It is the work.

Her Approach

She begins in your home—walking the spaces with you, understanding how they are used, and clarifying your goals for light, privacy, views, and atmosphere.

From there she moves into a focused design and selection phase, refining the treatments room by room—from fabrics, colors, and textures to control systems and finishes—until every element feels intentional to both the architecture and the way the home is lived in.

Once every detail is finalized, she oversees ordering and professional installation, bringing the entire project together with care and precision.
